Getting traffic to your YouTube video is important to make sure your video marketing delivers the buck. YouTube is a great source for targeted traffic if you manage to create the right video that delievers the content as well as gets the viewer to click the link to your website and eventually generate sales. However, there are instances when you’ve created a video has very less hit rates. So how do you increase the video hits? Here are some quick tips.
Use Your Own Voice
Trust me, lending your own voice to the video adds the personal touch that can certainly deliver better results. The key to promoting a product via videos is to bring across the message on how your product or services could help make things easier or better for your customers. With your own voice-over on the video, share your personal experience of how the product or service helped you. Crack a joke if possible!
If Possible, Be On the Video:
If you could spare a good quality video camera, turn it on and be onthe video yourself. It couldn’t get any better to be on the video yourself. If you can do a live demo of your product or service, then don’t hesitate to dedicate most part of the video to the product demo. You can be rest assured the viewers will be glued to see how your product works. If you’re promoting a website, or a sofware or a web application, one could also use free online screen capture softwares like Screen Toaster, Screencast-o-Matic to instantly capture your screen and create a video out of it on the fly! Adding a few seconds of real customer experiences at the end of the video is a perfect way to wrap up a great quality video!
Email, Tweet and Digg
Once you have your video uploaded to YouTube, you can tickle the initial traffic from people who you already know. Just send out an email to your friend’s list – it shouldn’t take any time at all if you’re the kind that saves your contacts into groups. With just a single email, you could take your YouTube video to far many people you could possibly ever reach. With email sent, you should head straight to Tweeter and Tweet your YouTube video. Not to forget adding the YouTube video to your Facebook, MySpace and your Orkut profiles. Using social networking sites to market your videos could be termed push marketing where you latest updates are pushed to your viewers rather than you have to reach out. Finally, bookmark your video using powerful bookmarking tools such as Digg, StumbleUpon, del.icio.us. They hardly take any time but the results can be overwhelming and many times could well generate quality traffic and lots of backlinks!

You just dished out a new video about your winning product and you’re ready to upload to YouTube. If you think that you’ve done your job and pray to the Gods to generate traffic, then luckily, you still have three saviors that can weave the magic of instant traffic. In this article, we discuss the most important tips that can easily result in amazing video views and a rapid increase in traffic to your YouTue videos.
Its all in the Video Title - Get it Right!
The YouTube Video Title is the first and the key factor that gets a user to view a video from the scores of videos that gets listed from his/her search. Let’s say I search for “How to Lose Weight” in YouTube. I get atleast 5000 videos listed and of the top videos that gets listed, you’ll very often that the Video Title always almost has the keywords “How to Lose Weight Fast” (yep, who doesn’t want to lose those pounds fast?). So what are we getting at? Let me put it this way – which video would I click from the list? I would click on a video that has the most descriptive Video Title. The Video Title that provides the most information wins.
Look at the following screenshot for an example. The Video Title of the third YouTube video (“How To Lose Weight Fast – Like 20 pounds in 3 weeks!”) is precise and provides a concise idea of the video content and what to expect from the video. Just the right dose of information to get the user to watch the video. The video views stands testimony to its success.

The bottomline – Word your YouTube Video Title such that it has a key fact or your most important tip/success mantra on the title itself. Its the deciding factor between your Youtube video being watched or being given a miss . Get the Video Title absolutely perfect – even if it takes a few hours, sweat it out. Think as to what is that you’re selling that others don’t and put this fact in your YouTube video title.
Video Description – The Double Bill
Having a perfect video title is just half the race won. You’ve almost dragged the user to read your video title, well done, however as your user reads the video title from the search results, the user eventually or probably would glance at the Video Description. Note that YouTube displays only the first 25-30 characters from the Video Description in the video search results so its vital that your Video Description starts with your most important information/tip that you’re sharing in the video. Below are quick tips for a sure-shot formula you should incorporate in your first few sentences in the Video Description.
- The first sentence is your sales pitch – describe as you would to a customer who is likely to give you a sale.
- The first sentence should reflect the central idea of your video so be generous to share a tip!
- Put as much facts as possible instead of writing long sentences. This helps avoid using conjunctions such as and, not, or, etc
- Avoid your website address or your Company Name in the beginning – you are wasting space for valuable words that otherwise can make a sale
YouTube Related Searches – Use it Well
Related Searches is YouTube way of telling us what are the popular search terms that users are searching for. How do you use it? Make sure that your Video Title and your Video Description has the right mix of the maximum terms from those returned in the Related Searches.

Remember, though you incorporate most of keywords from those from Related Searches, your trump card to getting your videos viewed is to provide maximum information in the Video Title and Description so be generous to share a tip or two.

In this quick post, we’ll discuss a useful video marketing tip often not taken seriouly – the pros and cons of using different YouTube video accounts for your various niches that your marketing online through videos. Not limited to YouTube, but you could certainly use multiple video accounts for each individual video site supported by ArticleVideoRobot.
When to use different video accounts?
- Use separate YouTube accounts for your top product or service. A separate video account means a separate YouTube Video Channel. People generally search for the product or the service name when they lookup information in YouTube, hence creating a separate video YouTube Video Channel ensures very high targetted traffic
- You’re an internet marketer who promotes many disparate products or services.
- The video site banned your video account. Create a new account in such case. Though the ban might be temporary, its no good if you’re backlisted even once. However, make sure you cut down the marketing message in your videos when you create the new account
When NOT to use different video accounts?
- You’re confined to a single product or service but find less video hits or traffic and decide to create a new account. Hold it! with proper promotion of your YouTube Channel (via your blog, Twitter, and social networking sites) you could certainly bring in great traffic.
So what is the big benefit of using different video accounts? Its targeted traffic – your chances of sales are higher through your video marketing rather distract subscribers to your channel with publishing videos that might not be necessary to them. If you have a winner product or service , then go for separate video accounts and see your internet video marketing drive more traffic and some good sales!

Rome was not built in a day. So it is for video marketing too. YouTube video marketing is the fastest and easiest way to connect with your target users, and keep them abreast with updates about your product or your service. How do you ensure that you have a growing list of users that you could connect with? Enter YouTube Channels. With a YouTube Channel, you could let interested users or propspects subscribe to your channel so that they can stay up to date with your latest videos.
Creating your YouTube Channel
A YouTube Channel is created automatically when you create a YouTube account, so no need to sweat! Infact, a YouTube Channel is the URL to your YouTube account page. For example, the YouTube Channel of our co-founder Sanchit Bhatnagar (whose user ID is superasn) is http://www.youtube.com/user/superasn.
Particpiate and Promote
Once you become concious of your channel, start promoting it in your blogs, in forums and even within YouTube by posting comments (with a link to your YouTube Channel) on related YouTube videos. Subscribe to related channels so that you could get visibility on other channels, as this improves the chances of viewers browsing your videos and then eventually subscribing to your channel. By ensuring active participation in the form of posting comments and subscribing to other channels, you increase the chances of YouTube users getting to visit your channel and view your videos.
Separate Niches, Separate Channels
If you’re promoting more than one product or service, then make sure you create seperate YouTube Channels (by creating individual YouTube accounts). This improves targetted traffic and improved subscriptions to your channels as users are aware they’re going to get the videos they want to see and not a “one-size fits all” solution. Being a targeted channel also means that your channel’s popularity with YouTube gets on the rise as long as you keep publising quality content.

Video marketing is at its peak at the moment and the interest just seems mind-blowing at the interest being generated by the viewers and the search engines alike. Video is a great way to engage users about your product or service but also provide valuable sneak-peak or product demos that can go a long way in improving the likelihood of a sale. In this short article, we take a step back and review the fundamentals of what goes into making your video marketing successful.
Myth – Shorter videos rank better
How many times have you come across video marketing sites and forums recommend that the ideal length of the video is 2 or 3 minutes. With a two-minute YouTube video, one could hardly provide the viewer any useful information. When people look for informative videos on YouTube, it is natural for a person to prefer a video that has a longer playing time as it is obvious that the video would have more information. As a YouTube user myself, if I am looking for a video on say “Tips for effective Video Marketing”, I would generally look for videos that run atleast for 5-6 minutes (many times I prefer YouTube videos that run 10 minutes) as I know I am getting a better idea on the subject than a 2-minute quick pick.
Use Pictures
In a recent study, it has been found that the video thumbnail is very critical and is a major driver behind video hit rates as viewers are more likely to click on a video whose thumbnail looks intriguing and appeal to the viewers based on the content they’re searching for. So how could you make your ArticleVideoRobot videos more engaging? Use Pictures. ArticleVideoRobot provides you the option to add picture to every slide. When we say pictures, we don’t only limit to images of your product, but also charts (to represent data), symbols or flow diagrams or decision trees that consume the content that is being displayed. YouTube automatically generates thumbnail of the video taken from the frame that is at the mid-point if the video, so if your video is 5mins long, then the thumbnail is the frame that is displayed at 02:30mins. ArticleVideoRobot provides the Headin with One Picture and the Heading wwith Two Picture paragraph styles.
Focus on Content, use Watermarked Backgrounds
We’ve seen many users drive many marketing messages into their videos thus translating to additional frames when the article is converted to video. This increases the video length sans providing any useful information. When you publish a video about your product or service in YouTube, it is understood that it is video marketing so it is recommend to focus on content than devote extra “marketing” sentences about your company on the video itself. Well, hang on, you still have quite a few unused area in the video – how do you leverage it? Use watermarked backgrounds, i.e., engloss your company or product logo on the right-hand corner of your flash video. This is very effective as the watermarked logo or tagline would constantly remind viewers about your product or service. Just in case you’re looking for me, ArticleVideoRobot provides the option to show a business logo on the initial screen which should more than suffice.

Let me give you more background on how AVR actually achieves traffic to your website. Google likes content that is regularly updated (well known fact). There are two elements that are fundamental to video marketing with AVR. These are the constants and variables.
The constants are:
a) Your website URL
b) Your primary keywords
The variables are:
a) Your video – you may have multiple videos generated for the same content, product, service or campaign
b) Your video title with subtle changes
c) Your video description that includes your “constant” website URL and “constant” keywords in “variable” description in various videos.
d) Your secondary keywords – that complement your “constant” primary keywords
Now, when you have a constant link (website URL) associated it with many videos targeted at similar keywords then search engines add more weightage to your URL. You use Dynasubmit to achieve this, i.e. post the same video to video sites, with a different title/description pair for each site. Not that the video content is the same. So let’s say for example, you have a video that says “How to increase traffic using ArticleVideoRobot”. You could post this to YouTube as a single video. However, what you could alter the title slightly and say “How to drive traffic using video marketing” or “Tips ans secrets to increase website ranking” and post the alerted titles to YouTube again. Now you would have 3 videos in YouTube, that would have the same URL (in the video description), a combination of constant primary keywords and variable secondary keywords (secondary keywords broaden your search scope). Now assume you post the same video to 15 videos sites, each with 3 variations, you would end up with 45 videos (15 x 3) out of a single video. With more combination of title and keywords, you could treble the scope of your video. So even if you have hundreds or thousands of videos on YouTube and other video sites that targets the same keywords that you’re targeting you might easily end up with more videos that have the link to your URL than any other video that on YouTube targeting the same niche. THis completes only one half of the video marketing.
The second half of the video marketing is to promote the video URL in popular blogs, forums and social networking sites. For example, you may have someone at a forum or a blog looking for a specific information that your video might actually have the answer or was targeted for. You could reply to the forum post and send him to your video URL. You could also tag your video URL in popular bookmarking sites like Digg, del.icio.us, Twitter, etc. Infact, posting the URL to Twitter could itself increase the traffic to your video overnight. ArticleVideoRobot has built in support that publishes your video to bookmarking sites as well (note that no credits are charged for this).

After banging my head almost everywhere to come up with techniques to improve your video marketing, it suddenly hit me how a simple technique could that I had almost never noticed until recently. Some of you might be already aware, but let me share it anyway. I usually spend a lot of time on YouTube searching TV shows that I always miss on weekends. And it struck me that a major factor to getting listed in the top of video search results is to have your main keywords (that you target) incorporated in your video title itself. The concept may sound very simple but let me share the fact that very few people are aware of this fact. This is a very effective technique that you could use when you submit your video using ArticleVideoRobot’s integrated video submission wizard.
To show you a working example, search for “the phrase video article marketing” in YouTube. If you would notice carefully the first video that is returned in the video search results, the Video Title has all the keywords that you searched for in YouTube and in a combination that matches the pattern of your search phrase, i.e. the full title of the topmost video is Article Marketing Meets Video Marketing: Turn Articles into Videos Part 2). Observe the concentration of the keywords in the video title (Article Marketing Meets Video Marketing: Turn Articles into Videos Part 2) of the topmost video in the YouTube search results. Also note that the video title has alternating patterns of the search keywords but in the same order as the search phrase, i.e. three matching patterns (article marketing, video marketing, and articles videos) for the search prhase “article video marketing”. Though the video has only very few hits (132 views), it still tops the search results. Notice the last video (Nuesion: HowTo YouTube & Web Video Marketing Part 1) in the below screenshot has 170,864 but still isn’t the top rated.

If you check out Metacafe for the same search phrase (“article video marketing”) you would notice a similar pattern.

What is imperative is the fact that video sites return search results by Relevance which is the default option. What it means to you is that when you post your videos using ArticleVideoRobot’s video submission wizard you could still garner higher traffic and possibly the highest visibility on YouTube. Even though your videos might be relatively new, have very low views (i.e. hit rates), you could still have your video article listed in the top of the video search results by careful construction of the video title with the right concentration (in terms of the various combination) of your target keywords as well as the logical placement (i.e. order) of the keyword phrases.
That is not all. With ArticleVideoRobot’s Dynasubmit feature, you could publish many versions of the same video but with different video titles and each video title optimized with the target keywords. All it takes is simple planning and you could not only top the video search results but could get many of your video listed in the top 10 search results for any given search phrase.
I hope this article helps you in improving your video traffic. We hope it does and we could be happier to see you succeed with your video marketing efforts.

When video marketing is your priority, then ArticleVideoRobot provides the perfect tools you need to turn your video marketing campaign into a success story. At ArticleVideoRobot we strive to build the best tools for video marketing on the Internet which leads us to constantly innovate and introduce new features to ensure you get maximum leverage out of your video marketing efforts. An important aspect of video marketing is to have a voice-over on the background which would read out key points in the video to ensure that the audience stay engaged. While ArticleVideoRobot already supports 12 voice-overs, we have done a major overhaul of the voice-over engine to make sure that your voice-overs sound better, clearer and add value to the video. If you would launch the Voice Libray now, you would notice the new options almost instantly:

The new features to the VoiceOver engine one would immediately recognize are the options to adjust the Speed and the Pitch of the built-in voices. To increase the rate at which the voice-over reads the text, simply select an appropriate value from the dropdown list.

The pitch of the voice-over, or the rate of vibration in the voice is particularly useful when you wish to lower the robotic tone in the voice. We’ve heard from customers that some voices sound robotic. Increasing the pitch of the voice (to Higher or Highest values) would lower the robotic tone. By increasing the speed of the voice and increasing the Pitch value, one could subsequently improve the voice-over quality and lower traces of robotic sound.
Also, clicking the B icon on the VoiceOver window increases the emphasis of the voice-over on the particular text. Use it when you want to put across important text in your video. One instance where you might want to use the emphasis feature is on the closing slides where you put across key points or the summary of the entire video

Build your own pronunciation vocabulary
Most often we’ve come across instances when the voiceover does not pronounce the word correctly. This happens on complicated words such as medical, scientific or engineering terms, names of people or persons and acronyms (such as FSMO which is actually pronounced as fizzmo). With the new feature, you could build a library of pronunciations which AVR replaces everytime it encounters the term on any of your flash video. This option could be launched by clicking the book-like icon on the Voice Library window.

One could also associate a pronunciation with a particular voice. This could be useful during instances when a particular voice-over does not prononunce the word properly (this is because we purchase the voice-overs from a third-party vendor and sometimes the pronunciations are not the same or better doesn’t sound the same across the voice-overs). By associating the corrections with individual voice-over, you make sure it doesn’t affect other voice-overs that pronounce the word correctly.
Record over phone:
Another new feature is the option to record your voice-over through phone. One might wonder why would we need this since there already is an option that to record the voice via the microphone option.

The Record over phone could actually prove handy in instances where you have someone else lending the voice for your video. You could ask the other person to dail into (513) 428 9972, enter the 5-digit passcode and then start recording their voice. Upon hang up, you would simply have to click the Import Message. The voice recording would be instantly added to the paragraph for which the recording window was open.

One of ArticleVideoRobot’s biggest feature launch till date is ArticleReel. What is it anyway? ArticleReel is a new tool that will generate hundreds of quality backlinks, and increase traffic to your website many fold. Well, you may wonder that you have many tools that claim to generate “instant” backlinks so whats the catch? As always, ArticleVideoRobot brings in unique and powerful technology built on years of internet experience. ArticleReel is unique because it starts working to build backlinks to your website and it does on its own, day in and day out as long as you have ArticleReel hosted on your website. All you would need to do is spend a few mins to set it up and its your ticket to boosting website traffic and to seeing your website rated in Google rankings. And all this for free!
Why ArticleReel?
ArticleReel works in the background and keeps generating backlinks to your website through its unique technology. The regular SEO tools/services do “optimize” your website to be SEO friendly and this does work, but only for a while. Why? Search engines like Google are getting more smarter by the day and track websites not only based on its keywords but factor in a number of other points such as content quality, frequency of content updates, number of backlinks, weightage of backlinks, etc. to name a few. This again is not set on stone – Google keeps improving its search algorithms to make sure the rankings are accurate as possible which means your website needs to be tuned to match up with the expectations of the search engines to make sure you’re always in Google rankings. This is where ArticleReel steps into the picture – ArticleReel is that someone who could keep your website SEO optimized, keep generating backlinks to your website, keep improving (and sustaining) the Google traffic rankings and make sure you’re website is indexed for the maximum possible keyword searches every other day!
How does ArticleReel work?
ArticleReel incorporates sophisticated technology with the years of marketing experience that puts your internet marketing on auto-pilot leaving you to concentrate on your core function. When you create an ArticleReel website, ArticleReel automatically creates backlinks between ArticleReel sites that fall into the same category. So for example if you have installed ArticleReel on your website http://www.articlevideorobot.com and there is another ArticleReel website named http://www.toufee.com and if the two websites fall in the same category, then the two websites would start exchanging backlinks automatically. That is not all. If http://www.toufee.com is already exchanging backlinks with other ArticleReel websites, then http://www.articlevideorobot.com would start exchange with “sites” that link to http://www.toufee.com as well.
Hang on, don’t think that ArticleReel is just another link exchange – absolutely not! What I’ve mentioned is just one of the ways in which ArticleReel increases backlinks. ArticleReel is a full featured video blog that is automatically updated as you add new ArticleVideoRobot videos. This means that the content on your website is updated regularly which keeps search engines like Google busy and your website is always on the hot list. On every ArticleReel video page, you get your entire article posted which means you don’t have to worry about keyword optimization since you have the entire article for Google to index. This is a double-advantage since ArticleReel not only sets up a video blog, but you now also have all your text articles posted along with it searching as a great repository and that which serves as rich content for Google to index. How does this translate into generating traffic to your website? Because your ArticleReel is set up on your website, and because you have your articles setup in your ArticleReel, Google indexes your website URL (let say http://www.articlevideorobot.com) every time it indexes your article, Google associates your website URL with top keywords that it indexes your articles for. In addition, ArticleReel generates only quality backlinks, has its own alogirthm to determine the weightage of the backlinks so you could be rest assured that your website gets quality sites linking back to your website.
How do I get started with ArticleReel?
Setting up ArticleReel is pretty simple. I would first recommend that you have a look at this video that provides a quick walkthrough:
http://www.articlevideorobot.com/articlereel_vid.html
Once you ready to go ahead, setting up ArticleReel shouldn’t take you more than a few minutes using the ArticleReel wizard. To launch the ArticleReel wizard, login to your ArticleVideoRobot account and then click on the ArticleReel image on the left. Alternatively, you could go navigate to the below URL directly after you login to your ArticleVideoRobot account.
http://www.articlevideorobot.com/videomarketing/articlereel.html
The ArticleReel is a self-explanatory wizard and you should be able to find your way without much problem. Also, you would just have to spend a few minutes to allow the ArticleReel wizard to convert your ArticleVideoRobot video into ArticleReel’s format.
Time to get started!
I doubt if you would be reading this line as I am sure you would have already launched the ArticleReel wizard and started getting your videos ArticleReel-ed. The clock starts now and let ArticleReel take care of generating traffic to your website. Time to go ahead and grab a hot coffee

ArticleVideoRobot allows you to easily publish your video to your blogs or your website using a simple one-click feature. With the new One-Click Article to Video Converter you could easily convert your articles to videos in a matter of seconds. You could also publish the video to your blog or websites with the same ease and speed. This end-to-end integration allows your website or blog to be update with video content which search engines love to index. Google, for instance, rank websites or blogs that publish frequent content, far higher than those websites/blogs that do it at a lesser interval.
To publish your video to your website or blog, follow the steps below:
1) Login to your ArticleVideoRobot.com account
2) Click on the Full AVR Editor button. This will open a new window. Click on Open Existing Projects button
3) Select the flash video project and click Distribute this movie button
4) In the new window that pops up, click on XPressPublish (Blog, Twitter, Facebook) button.
5) The Publish Online window will open up. Copy the HTML code and paste it into your website or blog
ArticleVideoRobot flash videos have a scaling of 640×430, the default HD-quality size. However, when you publish your video to blogs, you’ll generally have to reduce the size or you would notice the flash video being cut off on the right side. To fix the issue, you’ll have to reduce the scaling of your ArticleVideoRobot flash video by using the iScale parameter. Below is a modified version of the HTML code that will publish your video at 60% scaling.
<object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="http://www.articlevideorobot.com/movies/player.swf" style="width: 384px; height: 249px;" height="249" width="384">
<param name="movie" value="http://www.articlevideorobot.com/movies/player.swf">
<param name="quality" value="high">
<param name="scale" value="noscale">
<param name="salign" value="lt">
<param name="wmode" value="transparent">
<param name="flashvars" value="userID=56&projID=SOMEPROJECTusto-tweb&iScale=60&domain=www.articlevideorobot.com">
</object>
The following are the changes made to the HTML code
- Add a new attribute named iScale and set its value (note its a percentage) to the size that you want to scale the flash video. In the above code, the iScale attribute is set to 60 which means that your flash video would be scaled to 60% of its original size (the original height and width parameters are 640 pixels and 430 pixels respectively)
- Change the height and width according to the new scale. In the above code, I set the width to 384 (60% of 640) and height to 249 (60% of 430) respectively. Note that the original width and height are 640 and 430 pixels
The values are not absolute, which means that you could scale the flash video to 70% or 75% and adjust the height and width parameters accordingly.
